SHRM National Membership Scholarship

Florida Keys SHRM will award one scholarship toward a one-year SHRM National membership for 2023 (Value $229).

Current FLKSHRM members who have been chapter members for at least one year, who are not currently a SHRM National member, and who are in a Human Resources-related position are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Applications will be evaluated for a scholarship award based on the following criteria:

40% Work experience/progression and future career objectives in HR-related fields
20% Volunteer/leadership contribution and activity within FLKSHRM and/or other professional HR-related organizations
40% Financial need

Interested and eligible FLKSHRM chapter members must complete the Scholarship Application online, which can be found in the Members Only section of the FLKSHRM website. You will be required to log in with your member ID.

Applications are due by November 30, 2022. The successful scholarship applicant will be notified of a decision by December 15th.

The successful applicant will be asked to establish a SHRM National membership and renew their 2023 FLKSHRM membership by December 30, 2022. He/she will receive a reimbursement check after having provided the necessary documentation of both memberships.
