The saying goes – you only get one chance to make a good first impression. This first impression is vitally important to your new employee joining the company. It has been proven time and again that a well-balanced and structured onboarding program can reduce costs and accelerate productivity. With all the evidence to the contrary, why do companies still equate onboarding with the dreaded forms and boring PowerPoint presentation in HR?

During this session, we will explore the critical elements of onboarding including Getting the right tools and people in place for a balanced and effective program; Creating buy?in not only from the executives, but the hiring manager for a program that involves more than forms and a tour; Defining success by looking at factors such as retention, employee morale, productivity levels and more.
