This presentation is designed to be an interactive dialogue covering the need for an active shooter program in all types of organizations. From the “one person show” all the way to the largest enterprise, a realistic effective programfor how to respond to the worst-day-at-work-ever is a must. The rate and frequency of mass shootings continue to increase and no industry is immune. A successful program includes an awareness of the issue, preparation, andeducation of what to do, and being ready to respond appropriately should the need arise. In most industries, Human Resource leaders play a key role in insuring that their organization and its staff are prepared.
